Purpose

The purpose of the Fairfield Summer Community Theatre is to provide:

• an artistic resource for the community and the schools.

• an opportunity for the citizens of Fairfield of all ages to interact with one another on an artistic endeavor which will provide them with a deeper insight into their own lives and that of the community by their work on an artistic creation.

• a unifying element between the community and the schools.

• an outlet of educating interested citizens in the art and craft of the theatre.

• a disciplined atmosphere for young people to express themselves artistically in sociably acceptable ways as they grow socially, culturally, and educationally.

• a beneficial utilization of community and school resources to provide summer education, recreation, and artistic stimulation for all the citizens of the community.

• a cultural legacy for future citizens of the community.
